Network Working Groups

The Network, primarily through its Development Worker, Noeleen Jennings, supports the Network's 6 current Working Groups.

Support to Projects

The Network currently supports the following groups:

O'Devaney Gardens Community Development Forum (ODGCDF)
ODGCDF is a partnership of community, voluntary and statutory people living and working in the area. Its aim is to ensure that the economic and social regeneration of O'Devaney Gardens delivers the maximum measurable benefits for existing tenants as identified in the ODGCDF 5-year plan.
The Network Co-ordinator is presently one of the ODGCDF reps on the O'Devaney Gardens Regeneration Board which is overseeing the regeneration of O'Devaney Gardens.

Community ICT Project
This project has been recently granted over E300,000 to set up a new community-based Information and Communication Technology Project that will act as a resource for the whole North West Inner City area.

Good Neighbours Close to Town (GNCT)
This group has recently secured funding to employ a Community Development Worker to support residents in the Dominick St./Dorset St. Hardwicke St. area.

Council for Services for Older People (CSOP)
The Council for Services to Older People (CSOP) in the Northwest Inner City is a partnership of statutory, voluntary and community groups. The CSOP was established to enhance and develop services for older people through the co-ordination and integration of the different statutory, voluntary and community providers. The primary role of the CSOP is to identify ways in which services to older people can be improved and to put in place strategies and actions to enhance the quality of services being provided to older people in the North West Inner City.
